Every summer our kids' class takes a break, encouraging families to worship together. Shaping Arrows is an opportunity for both kids and adults to partner together in learning important doctrinal truths of our faith through the New City Catechism.

What is catechism? Catechism comes from a Greek word which means "to teach orally".  It is not tied to any religion or denomination, but refers to a way to learn doctrine, typically through question and answer.

Each week, we will go through one question and answer during the service. New City Catechism also includes a kid's version of the answer that is simplified to make it easier to memorize. Until supplies run out, we will have physical copies of both the adult and kids' versions of the catechism each Sunday. If you have kids, visit the table beside the kids' desk for worksheets that correspond to the question of the week, along with different activities for your kids to do during the service.
